Introduction

The buzz around the $20B Sprint-SoftBank deal has died down, but substantial uncertainty remains about Sprint’s strategic vision, especially its wireline operations, and much centers on the role, if any, enterprise customers play in Sprint’s plans. More details about the transaction may emerge as the transaction winds its way through the regulatory approval process. In the meantime, enterprise customers have RFPs to issue and contracts to renew, and cannot delay those projects while sprints plans gel.
